Not long after Proenza Schouler pre-empted the official start of NYFW with a stripped-down show for 140 people, a handful of the world’s most famous women—Dakota Johnson and Naomi Campbell among them, attended the Bulgari Studio Party at the penthouse of The Refinery at Domino. The spring-summer 2025 fashion season has begun, and so have the parties.

Dakota Johnson continued her New Age bohemian persona with a dangling amulet dangling from her neck. The actress wore the aforementioned mystery piece, a sort of Roman coin mounted on a crystal-encrusted life preserver, with a watery Gucci slip cut from mud-brown silk, plus Gucci stilettos and a miniature Jackie bag. (Alessandro Michele’s reference girl (She has yet to move to Valentino.) Campbell, meanwhile, sported a buzz-cut bob almost as severe as her world-famous bone structure, with a series of chokers wrapped around her neck.
The duo posed alongside Damson Idris and Paris Jackson to celebrate the launch of Bulgari’s new Tubogas collection, a palace of sinuous necklaces, watches and bracelets, named after the less glamorous Tubogas pipes, once used to transport pressurized gas in the 1920s.
