Our model decree is very comprehensive. You don’t have to fill it out completely. Regulate only what is important to you and involve your family members.
1. Who should take care?
You must appoint a person you trust to care for the dead and be responsible for ensuring that your wishes stated in the decree are implemented. Care for the dead includes the right to dispose of the body and the obligation to arrange for burial. The person also enters into a contract for the use of your grave. You are free to choose the person. In addition to your children, good friends, neighbors or caregivers are possible. There can also be several people. Be sure to talk to the person responsible for caring for the dead about their duties and give them a copy of the order.

3. Type of burial
At this point you can decide whether your remains should be buried in a coffin (Burial in the ground) or cremated (Cremation) should be. Those who decide to be buried may only choose the cemetery as their final resting place. Urns may also be placed in the root area of a tree (Tree burial) or at sea (Burial at sea).
Points 4 to 10 on the form
In points 4 to 9 you can arrange the funeral, the guest list for the celebration, the newspaper announcement or the memorial. In “10. “Other” you can write down wishes that you have not yet expressed in the decree.
