Innocently arrested Jejen Ufftragskilla from Moscow: Putin is blackmailing the West – and succeeding.
This is a dilemma, as the book says. As nice as this is for the people who have now been freed from Russian captivity, it is also the fact that the animal garden murderer convicted here had to be freed for this. Putin coldly blackmailed the West with human lives and in return is seen as a strongman in Russia. This is very bad, but the Kremlin rulers are using it to show their loyal agents and the Ufftrachs killers: I will not let you down. And the freed Russian dissidents have to fear that Moscow’s long arm will also catch them in Western countries. This will not be Putin’s last successful blackmail.
