As someone with a mild perfume allergy, I’m always nervous to try new scents. Overly floral or powdery fragrances give me a powerful headache. However, I’m happy to report that the debut scent from Dauphinette, an up-and-coming whimsical New York fashion brand, has left me headache-free and fully hooked. Top notes of lemon, fig, and tomato leaf make it bright and zesty, while the heart and base notes of green tea and hinoki give it a cozy feel. Like other citrusy perfumes, 369 feels very gender-neutral, and the bottle (complete with a handmade resin dandelion cap) is a must-have for collectors. —Anastasia Sanger, senior manager of social creative development
