The final will be broadcast to the public in several German cities. In the ten host cities, mainly in the well-known fan zones. Thousands of people are expected at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin again – although not in the crowds that a final with German participation would have attracted. The weather forecast promises a dry Sunday night in much of the country.
Tickets for the final can no longer be officially purchased. Entry tickets are traded on the Internet on various portals without the consent of the European Football Union at prices much higher than the original market value.. UEFA has warned on several occasions that tickets purchased illegally could be cancelled.
European Championship final: England celebrate in Berlin
Berlin’s Weidendammer Bridge is firmly in English hands ahead of the European Championship final between Spain and England.

English football fans were already having a great time on the eve of the European Championship final in Berlin. Among other things, there was a big party on Saturday evening at a major intersection on Friedrichstrasse, as a DPA reporter reported. The fans visited the various restaurants there and also celebrated in the streets.
A group of police officers wearing helmets can also be seen in the videos. The police did not initially provide any further details about the operation. According to “BZ”, English fans also celebrated in several other locations in the city, such as Alexanderplatz.
Spain vs England European Championship final: the stats
Three-time European champions (1964, 2008, 2012), Spain are playing in their fifth final. It was only in 1984 that the Furia Roja lost the European Championship final (0-2 against France). England’s celebrities wish them luck ahead of European Championship final
The England football team received plenty of warm words from celebrities back home on the day of the European Championship final. In a nearly two-minute video that the BBC put together and shared on X, pop star Ed Sheeran, who has a close relationship with the Three Lions, spoke out. “I really feel like everything is coming together at the right time. I can’t wait for Sunday. Football is coming home. All the best, guys,” Sheeran said.

The 33-year-old singer was at the stadium for the semi-final against the Netherlands in Dortmund and the round of 16 against Slovakia in Gelsenkirchen. She also visited captain Harry Kane’s squad during this European Championship. At the training ground in Blankenhain there was a small music session during the preliminary round.
Ahead of European Championship final against Spain: England’s Kane thanks Germany
England star Harry Kane also thanked German fans ahead of the European Championship final against Spain. “Whether it’s in the hotels or the stadiums, everywhere I feel the support not only from the English fans but also from the German fans. I really appreciate that,” the Bayern Munich striker said on Saturday night: “I’m sure there are a lot of Germans who are crossing their fingers for me.”
Kane moved to Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur a year ago – but not “because the Euros are in Germany”, as he said with a smile. “But the support since I got to Germany has been incredible. A lot of the boys from Bayern have already messaged me and wished me luck. “Tomorrow is a great opportunity to say thank you,” Kane said. National coach Gareth Southgate also thanked Germany. “We felt welcome everywhere, everyone was super friendly to us. I have to say congratulations to Germany, they put on an incredible event,” Southgate said.

2024 European Championship final: Spain favourites to reach the final? De la Fuente denies it
Spanish soccer coach Luis de la Fuente, on the other hand, can do little with his role as favorite for the European Championship final against England.
