Munich. Heidi Klum’s casting show, “Germany’s Next Top Model,” is entering the final stretch. Just before the semi-finals, however, it came down to a big favorite.
A big favorite was released: male model Armin from Kempten im Allgäu did not make it to the semi-finals of “Germany’s Next Top Model”. In the new episode of the program, it’s over for the 27-year-old. “I really saw you 100 percent in the final and that’s why I’m really shocked that I have to say this now,” said Heidi Klum. “But as sorry as I am, I don’t have a photo for you, Armin.
During a photo session in which candidates had to jump from elastic devices armed with swords, the young man failed to convince the jury, which included Thomas Hayo and Kristian Schuller alongside Klum. “The spark just didn’t fly for you today,” Hayo said.
The person who was eliminated looked quite shocked. “This dream that grows inside you – and someone sticks a needle in it,” was how he described his dashed hope for the top model title. “Even though Heidi’s last words hurt,” participating in the show was “the most beautiful thing you can experience.” He tried to bear his failure with composure: “At some point everyone has to go.”
Next episode for the first time on a Tuesday
The semi-finals will now take place without him. For the first time in the history of “Germany’s Next Top Model”, who will reach the grand final of the current season will be decided on a Tuesday: ProSieben will show the semi-finals next week, on June 11th, at 8:15 pm. The live final is scheduled to take place just two days later.
Nine candidates fight for the title after the show: Fabienne (21) from Solingen, Frieder (25) from Berlin, Grace (25) from Düsseldorf, Jermaine (20) from Kassel, Lea (24) from Düsseldorf, Linus (25) from Berlin , Xenia (24) from Hof and the twins Julian and Luka (24) from Frankfurt am Main, who are now counted as one of the candidates in the program.
