Berlin – The Health Committee of the Federal Council has created a subcommittee for the Hospital Care Improvement Act (KHVVG). The Federal Council confirmed this when asked German medical journal.
The Federal Council also announced that Schleswig-Holstein will chair the subcommittee. The subcommittee’s first meeting will be next Wednesday. The conference of health ministers of the federal states also begins on the same day (GMK), which Schleswig-Holstein also chairs this year.
According to the agenda, the KHVVG will be discussed at the ordinary meeting of the Health Committee, chaired by Sarre, on June 19th. Also on the agenda is the discussion on the law to strengthen health in municipalities (GVSG), in which the federal government’s main objective is to promote the de-budgeting of general practitioners.
Furthermore, on June 19th, the federal states will discuss a law to amend the Transplant Act and introduce an objection solution. This was brought to the commission at the request of the states of North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg, Berlin, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Schleswig-Holstein. © bee/aerzteblatt.de
