Media entrepreneur Rupert Murdoch married for the fifth time at age 93. The in Australia Born media mogul gave the 67-year-old retired molecular biologist Saturday at his California winery Elena Zhukova the word yes. This was reported by the American edition of the “Sun”. The tabloid is owned by the Murdoch-led News Corporation, the media empire that also includes titles such as the conservative “Wall Street Journal” and the right-wing television station “Fox News”. News Corporation also published photos of the Marriage. Murdoch’s fortune is currently estimated at just under $20 billion.
Fifth actually planned marriage with another woman
Murdoch already had plans for a fifth marriage in March 2023. At the time, according to media reports, he had the man, now 67, Ann Lesley Smith, the widow of country singer Chester Smith, proposed marriage. But two weeks later he abruptly ended the relationship, the New York Times wrote at the time.
Murdoch was in the summer of 2022 separated from actress Jerry Hall, with whom he has been married since 2016. Previously, he had been married three times and had six children from those marriages. Zhukova came to the U.S. at the end of the Soviet Union and, according to the New York Times, conducted research at the University of California, among other places.
