Kidman’s Bardot-esque updo showed off her strawberry curls, with a few pieces falling coquettishly across her face. I’m reminded of an elegant spin on Kidman’s hairstyle in the most iconic picture of her ever taken—the one taken after her divorce from Tom Cruise was finalized.

Matching the vibe of her sophisticated bedroom hair is Kidman’s Fendi couture gown, which I’m describing as an elevated naked dress. And I mean that in the best way possible. The floor-length jersey gown is strapless with a high slit and a gathered detail at the waist. Kidman styled it with matching nude pumps and gold jewelry, which included a heavy gold bangle bracelet and hoop earrings, but no necklace.
While she hasn’t gone back to her natural tight ringlets, which haven’t been seen since the ’90s, Nicole Kidman has been experimenting with a return to strawberry curls this year, at least on her Instagram.
