O I met Gala It is one of the biggest glamor events of the year. The celebrity elite gather every first Monday in May USA for the charity event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The stars present their best looks on the red carpet, it’s see and be seen and it’s been that way since 1948.
There have been iconic fashion moments over the years. Lady Gaga’s controversial meat dress, fully covered Kim Kardashian and Jared Leto in a cat costume are just some of the fashion highlights at the Met Gala. This year the theme was: “Sleeping Beauties: Awakening Fashion”. Roughly translated: Sleeping Beauties: Fashion Reawakened – it’s about historicizing trends.
