Chargers, delivery services, curling cream and gingerbread – all were tested in this year’s edition of our Jugend testing contest. And because the work presented was so outstanding, Stiftung Warentest chose not six, as usual, but seven winning teams – and awarded two first and third places each in the service testing category.
Awards ceremony with minister in Berlin
The work of the best young testers has now been recognized at the awards ceremony in Berlin. Federal Minister for Consumer Protection Steffi Lemke, as patron of the “Jugend testset”, personally congratulated in her speech. You could earn money and a stay in Berlin.
New participation record
With 3,516 participants, it was another record in the 45-year history of the competition. As always, the young testers were up to date. We received 15 AI tests – two of which won awards. Due to first place being awarded twice, both chatbot tests ended in third place.
