Cologne. The second MVZ of the general practitioner cooperative HV Plus starts operating in North Rhine-Westphalia. Starting July 1, the facility will be open to provide primary care to Hennef-Uckerrath’s nearly 3,500 residents.
The MVZ in the Rhein-Sieg district is already the second sponsored by the cooperative, which was started by the association of general practitioners. On April 1st I hadthe MVZ pilot in Velbert work began. HV Plus aims to maintain a family doctor service in underserved regions or at risk of shortages.
The basic principle is a concept designed exclusively by the members – i.e. family doctors – according to Elke Cremer, chairwoman of the cooperative’s supervisory board. “State-of-the-art technology, intelligent digitalization concepts and central management of non-care-related administrative tasks alleviate the workload of the clinical team.” (eat)
